What's changed and when

Our van has broken down again — this time with a broken cam belt, which is a major repair rather than a quick fix. We're sorry for the inconvenience this causes.

Because of this, every bin clean is affected until the van is back on the road. We don't yet know exactly how long the repair will take.

If your clean is affected, we'll move it to your next scheduled date and email you directly to let you know. Please don't put your bins out on a day we've told you is cancelled — it will be cleaned on the new date instead.

Our filtration system has been replaced and tested, and cleaning is back to normal across every area we cover.

We're now working through the backlog and catching up with customers whose cleans were missed over the last two weeks. If this was you, you don't need to do anything — we'll be along as soon as we can, and you'll be straight back on your normal schedule.

We've found that paint, put out in a bin we cleaned, has contaminated our cleaning equipment. To put this right properly, we're replacing our whole filtration system rather than a quick fix.

Because of this, all cleans are postponed across every area we cover, not just today's round. We're sorry for the disruption this is causing.

The replacement parts are on order, with delivery expected Friday 16 October. Once they're fitted and tested, we'll resume cleaning and update this page.

If your clean has already been rescheduled, you'll have had an email with your new date. If you haven't heard from us yet, please bear with us — we're working through accounts as quickly as we can.

Our van is off the road for a clutch replacement. Because of this, we had to cancel some bin cleans booked for Tuesday 6 October and Wednesday 7 October 2026.

Every affected customer has been emailed with their rebooked date. Each clean has been moved to the next scheduled day for that bin, four weeks later.

Please don't put your bins out on the cancelled days. They will be cleaned on your rebooked day.
